Gloria Liu

Keynote Speaker

Gloria Liu is an editor-at-large for BICYCLING magazine, and the magazine's former features and gear editor. At BICYCLING, she writes and edits stories about all kinds of cyclists, but is especially dedicated to stories that promote inclusivity in the sport. She's written popular features about a wide range of subjects, from the (at times hilarious) self-discovery gained by going #FullEnduro, to the intersection of #MeToo and cycling. At the WORCC, she looks forward to talking about finding your voice in the bike world—even if you don't ``fit the mold``—and making that big, crazy moonshot of a goal happen, whether it's in your career or your riding.

Lynn Bush

Shop 'Til You Drop: What, where, and how are female off-road cyclists are acquiring gear?

Lynn began mountain biking and racing while living in Kansas City in 2000. She quickly grew a racing career in XC, 24-hour, Super-D, DH, and Cyclocross. She holds national championship titles in both Super-D and Women’s 24-Hr Team, and is the founder of the Tough Girl Cycling Team. At home she has 5 and 2 year old boys who are continue her love of cycling and basically…bikes are her thing.

Kerry Fleknoe

Teams, Clubs, and Group Rides: Where's the sweet spot for creating community?

I’m Kerry. I love dogs, bikes, and my husband Chris…. sometimes in that order. I’m an average cyclist who tries pretty hard to play outside as much as possible and trains only sort of hard to keep up with my above-average friends. I’m often traveling for work, often tired, and often saying yes to all the things in spite of it. If it’s on two wheels and keeps the stoke level on high, count me in.

Janette Sherman

“Women’s Specific”: Fiction or Fact?

Marketing Manager, Yeti Cycles: Janette Sherman currently lives, works and rides in the Front Range of Colorado. As a former employee of Liv Cycling and now Yeti Cycles marketing manager, Janette is uniquely positioned, as an industry insider, to discuss the evolution of women’s specific bikes.

JJ Trout

Passion Into Profession: Can the outdoor industry attract diverse talent capable of solving bigger problems?

JJ Trout is the Director of Data + Technology at People for Bikes. She will be accompanied in this Camber Outdoors sponsored breakout session by leaders Stacey Wilhelm, Marketing Director for Specialized Components and Tracy Heiman, Senior Manager of Sourcing & Digital Innovation, Pearl iZUMi. Camber will facilitate a conversation about finding rewarding work in an industry that understands what drives you.

Trina Ortega

Media Mania: How do - or don't - you identify with language, images, and portrayals of female riders?

Lauren Costantini

Bucket List, Baby: Your dreams, goals, and aspirations as an off-road cyclist.

Lauren has been known to ‘Take the Leap’ many times: She started life as a dancer in New York, got a PhD in Neuroscience, was on faculty at Harvard Medical School, and became San Francisco-based biotech exec. She has been riding and racing mtb and cyclocross since 1997, arriving in Boulder in 2007. Launching her own consulting firm, she quickly became CEO of a fertility company, resigning after 5 years to chase a cycling entrepreneurship dream. Lauren recently started a unique MTB tour guide company. She has continued to race bikes through every transition, though it’s taken extraordinary organization, negotiation, and stubbornness!

Megan Duehring

E-MTB: What's happening in the pedal assisted off-road world?

I’m fortunate enough to come from a family with deep roots in cycling, and I found that same passion in my veins when I joined the cycling industry about 5.5 years ago. Riding changed my outlook and truly my life. Nothing gives me more joy then meeting other likeminded women and helping them realize what cycling can offer. I now work directly with electric bikes at Shimano, which is another way of getting more people outside to exercise and enjoy the outdoors.

Karen Jarchow

Paying to Play: What makes races, festivals, and events worth your investment?

Professional Rider, Team Topeka-Ergon and Assistant Marketing Manager and Ergon: Karen comes with a multi-angled perspective on the industry as both a professional athlete for Team Topeka-Ergon, and as the Assistant Marketing Manager for Ergon U.S. She is driven by the passion of exploring on two wheels and helping to make the industry a more inclusive space. In her ``spare`` time she runs a summer MTB program in the Colorado Rocky Mountains getting more kids on bikes.
