Unite Our Voices

Inspire Adventure

Find camaraderie among women with shared passions, and renew – or discover – the sense of possibility for life where the pavement ends.

Speakers and Break Out Leaders

Engage with women cyclists who are making their mark in the off-road cycling industry.

Gloria Liu

Keynote Speaker

Gloria Liu is an editor-at-large for BICYCLING magazine, and the magazine's former features and gear editor. At BICYCLING, she writes and edits stories about all kinds of cyclists, but is especially dedicated to stories that promote inclusivity in the sport. She's written popular features about a wide range of subjects, from the (at times hilarious) self-discovery gained by going #FullEnduro, to the intersection of #MeToo and cycling. At the WORCC, she looks forward to talking about finding your voice in the bike world—even if you don't ``fit the mold``—and making that big, crazy moonshot of a goal happen, whether it's in your career or your riding.

Shop 'Til You Drop: What, where, and how are female off-road cyclists are acquiring gear?

Kerry Fleknoe

Teams, Clubs, and Group Rides: Where's the sweet spot for creating community?

I’m Kerry. I love dogs, bikes, and my husband Chris…. sometimes in that order. I’m an average cyclist who tries pretty hard to play outside as much as possible and trains only sort of hard to keep up with my above-average friends. I’m often traveling for work, often tired, and often saying yes to all the things in spite of it. If it’s on two wheels and keeps the stoke level on high, count me in.

Janette Sherman

“Women’s Specific”: Fiction or Fact?

Marketing Manager, Yeti Cycles: Janette Sherman currently lives, works and rides in the Front Range of Colorado. As a former employee of Liv Cycling and now Yeti Cycles marketing manager, Janette is uniquely positioned, as an industry insider, to discuss the evolution of women’s specific bikes.

Sallie Hoefer

Equity in the Industry

Partnership Manager, Camber Outdoors: Sallie was born and raised in the Midwest, but sensed from a very young age that she belonged among mountains. In the 4th grade she became obsessed with Montana and in middle school she spent weekends snowboarding down Wisconsin's peaks. After college Sallie headed west to live and play among the Rockies. Since then, she has spent winters snowboarding down mountains, and summers biking up them.

Media Mania: How do - or don't - you identify with language, images, and portrayals of female riders?

Bucket List, Baby: Your dreams, goals, and aspirations as an off-road cyclist.

E-mtb: What's happening in the pedal assisted off-road world?

Paying to Play: What makes races, festivals, and events worth your investment?
